We were looking for a quick lunch before running errands and this place exceeded expectations beyond belief. The food is phenomenal, very filling and delicious with amazing fresh ingredients. We had the Mac and cheese, the plain Jane burger, and chicken apple panini with some small sides and apps. Every single part of our visit was perfect. The music, the flowers on the table, and the natural light... it was perfect. And not to mention the service. Our server’s name was Stephen and we both agreed we had never had service so good. Highly recommend this place, worth every penny.

Such a fun little restaurant to get tasty coffee and food! The Reuben was amazing-quite possibly my favorite of all time (I have had many before)! I really enjoyed their Bee Sting iced coffee, as well. It is small inside, so a bit loud and crowded, but I’ll definitely be back to enjoy some delicious food!

Initially I did 5 stars, but I suppose since the owner has responded; I'll give a real review. At the recommendation of a friend who had said this is her favorite place in Vermillion & the mac & cheese is her go to, I thought I'd give it a try. Not only did the Five Mac & Cheese not disappoint, it was phenomenal. The hot cider out did the taste memory I had for apple cider. It was tart but the warming spices made it so comforting & autumnal. Perfect. Next I had a creme brulee, because: namesake, & as the wonderful server said, you cant go wrong with cream & sugar. The stylings & decor are reminiscent of coffee shops I've only ever seen in media that make you want to bring in a book & stay for way too long. I will happily return whenever I'm in town, & 10/10 would recommend. Keep up the good work guys!

So, not going to lie.... I originally came to town to eat at the Silk Road Cafe a few doors down for some amazing Korean. But they were closed for some reason. So, I made my way here as a good back up. Place was quite busy. Had to wait on getting a table and it was not a holiday weekend or anything. Manager (or owner?) was very friendly and took our name for a list and got busy looking for vacancies. I ordered the meatloaf, and my friend ordered a salad, but I can’t remember which one. I also tried the Broccoli Cheese soup. Everything we got was very good, and all worth getting again if we couldn’t decide on trying something new next time. Service was good even though they were busy. There was a gal that made rounds just to keep water glasses full, in case your waiter/waitress was busy. Friendly atmosphere. This place is like a combination of a mom and pop small town cafe, yet with the classy feel and service of a newer modern style bar and grill. Would recommend anyone try this place, although I still have to give a shout out to Silk Road (which I’ve also reviewed) as well. Try them both!!

I've been buying our special occasion cakes from here for 5 years and I'm never disappointed. The fish tacos and homemade clam chowder were absolutely the best I've ever had!

Beyond impressed. Food was amazing, but the service was unbelievable. If you’re lucky enough to get a gentleman named, Kyle. The dude is a rock star. We will be coming back much more frequently
